Digital Twin Lab

About

Digital Twin Lab is an international effort jointly between Center for Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at George Mason University (GMU), Computational Fluid Dynamics Center at GMU, Bioengineering Department at GMU, Technical University of Munich (Germany) and Technical University of Braunschweig. The lab is working closely with national labs such as Sandia National Labs and industry partners e.g., SIEMENS.

The goal is to identify weakness in structures and also to study medical digital twins.

What is Digital Twin?

“A Digital Twin is a set of virtual information constructs that mimics the structure, context, and behavior of an individual/unique physical asset, is dynamically updated with data from its physical twin throughout its lifecycle, and informs decisions that realize value”
